Light Rail (Stage 3)
Gold Coast Light Rail (Stage 3) is a $1.2 billion, 6.7-kilometre extension of the light rail network from Broadbeach to Burleigh Heads and is funded by the Queensland and Australian governments in partnership with City of Gold Coast.
Stage 3 will extend the tram network to 27km from Helensvale to Burleigh Heads and will reduce demand on local roads and improve the liveability and urban amenity of the city.
